Super Easy Chicken & Rice Soup

  1. Melt butter in 4- to 6-quart saucepan over medium heat until sizzling.
  2. Add onion, celery, carrots and garlic; continue cooking 3-5 minutes or until onions are softened.
  3. Add chicken broth, water and paprika.
  4. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 7-9 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil and carrots are tender.
  5. Stir in rice, chicken and parsley.
  6. Cook 5-7 minutes or until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.
  9. *Substitute cooked wild or brown rice.
