Grandma Eula's Baked Caramel Corn

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Stir in sugar, syrup & salt.
  3. Bring to boil stirring constantly.
  4. Boil for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla.
  6. Pour over popcorn in a large buttered pan.
  7. I like to use the large aluminum disposable pans.
  8. Bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees, stirring every 15 minutes.
  9. Seal in plastic Ziploc bag.
