Caramel-Filled Chocolate Cookies

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Lightly spoon flour in measuring cup; level off.
  3. In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking soda; blend well.
  4. In large bowl, beat 1 cup sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
  5. Add vanilla and eggs; beat well.
  6. Add flour mixture; blend well.
  7. Stir in 1/2 cup of the pecans.
