Sweet 'n Spicy BBQ Ribs
- 3 cups Kraft BarBQ Sauce
- 3 cups Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce
- 2 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper
- 12 racks pork spareribs Safeway 1 lb For $2.88 thru 02/09
- 3/4 cup barbecue rub seasoning
- Cook barbecue sauces, sugar, honey and crushed pepper in saucepan on medium heat until heated through.
- (Do not exceed 160 degrees F.) Cool.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Place ribs, bone-sides down, in single layer in full-size hotel pans.
- Rub 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) seasoning onto each rack; brush each rack with 1/4 cup (50 mL) sauce.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake in 200 degrees F standard oven 2 hours.
- Brush each rack with 1/4 cup (50 mL) of the remaining sauce.
- Bake 2 hours or until ribs are done and meat is very tender.
