Spice Rubbed Flank Steak

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Coat both sides of flank steak with rub ingredients (really rub the spices into the meat) and let sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
  3. In a cast iron skillet, heat oil to med-hi temp, when oil is hot, grill flank steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Then place entire cast iron skillet in oven for an additional 4 minutes (until flank steak is done, or to desired doneness).
