Chicken Breasts in Leek Sauce
- 2 Chicken breasts
- 100 ml Soy sauce
- 50 grams Sugar
- 50 ml Sesame oil
- 1 Beaten egg
- 1 Katakuriko
- 1 for frying Frying oil
- 1 stalk Japanese leek
- Pierce the chicken breasts on both sides with a fork to tenderize it and make it easier for the flavors to penetrate it.
- Combine the ingredients marked (soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil) and marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hours.
- (Turn the chicken over occasionally.)
- Heat the frying oil, dip the chicken in the egg and then coat with katakuriko.
- Deep fry the chicken with the skin side up first over relatively low heat.
- When it's just about cooked through turn it over and continue frying.
- While you fry the chicken, put the marinade in a pan, add some sliced leek and boil down.
- Slice the fried chicken into 1.5 to 2 cm wide pieces and put in a serving plate.
- Pour the leek sauce over the chicken to finish.
