Chicken Or Crawfish Fettuccine Recipe
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 3 stalks celery, minced
- 1 bell pepper, minced
- 3 or possibly 4 garlic pods, minced
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 lbs. crawfish tails or possibly about 6 chicken breasts
- 4 tbsp. parsley, minced
- 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked
- 1 pound warm Velveeta cheese
- 1 carton half and half
- Green onion tops, minced
- Saute/fry butter, celery, bell pepper and garlic.
- Add in flour, blend well.
- Cook over low heat.
- Add in crawfish, green onions and parsley and cook on very low fire for 15 to 20 min.
- Add in cheese, half and half, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook till cheese is melted.
- Add in noodles.
- Blend well and pour into buttered casserole dish (9x13).
- Bake at 350 degrees uncovered, for 20 min.
- When using chicken, cut into small strips and saute/fry some before adding to the vegetables.
