Cold Avocado Soup

  1. Puree avocados and garlic in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Stir in 2 c buttermilk, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove to a bowl and chill.
  4. If necessary, thin with remaining buttermilk.
  5. Season to taste.
  6. Serve in chilled bowls, garnished with remaining ingredients.
