Ham and Peas Tetrazzini Casserole
- 1/2 lb. bucatini pasta, uncooked, broken in half
- 1/4 cup butter, divided
- 1 onion, chopped King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1-1/2 cups OSCAR MAYER Lower Sodium Ham, chopped
- 1-1/4 cups KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend, divided
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2-1/2 cups milk
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, melt 1 Tbsp.
- butter in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add onions; cook and stir 4 to 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in peas; cook 3 min., stirring occasionally.
- Transfer to bowl; stir in ham, 1/4 cup cheese and pepper.
- Cover to keep warm.
- Melt remaining butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.
- Stir in flour.
- Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.
- or until thickened.
- Add to ham mixture; mix well.
- Drain pasta; return to saucepan.
- Add ham mixture; mix lightly.
- Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 20 min.
- or until heated through.
