Ham and Peas Tetrazzini Casserole

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt.
  3. Meanwhile, melt 1 Tbsp.
  4. butter in large skillet on medium-high heat.
  5. Add onions; cook and stir 4 to 5 min.
  6. or until crisp-tender.
  7. Stir in peas; cook 3 min., stirring occasionally.
  8. Transfer to bowl; stir in ham, 1/4 cup cheese and pepper.
  9. Cover to keep warm.
  10. Melt remaining butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.
  11. Stir in flour.
  12. Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.
  13. or until thickened.
  14. Add to ham mixture; mix well.
  15. Drain pasta; return to saucepan.
  16. Add ham mixture; mix lightly.
  17. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  18. Top with remaining cheese.
  19. Bake 20 min.
  20. or until heated through.
