Baked Apple Cider Chicken
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Pepper
- 16 ounces, weight Chicken, Boneless, Skinless
- 1/4 whole Onion, Sliced
- 1 whole Apple
- 1/2 teaspoons Thyme
- 13 cups Apple Cider Or Apple Juice
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Salt and pepper chicken and place in a baking dish.
- Add your onion and apple, surrounding your chicken with them.
- Sprinkle with the thyme.
- In a small mixing bowl or pyrex dish, wisk together the cider, honey, garlic and mustard until combined.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and onto the apples and onion.
- Cover the chicken with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Take off the foil and bake uncovered for 15 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- Also check to make sure you have enough juice in the dish, so it doesnt dry.
- If not, add little more cider to it.
