Apple Breakfast Bar Recipe

  1. In bowl, mix whole wheat and all-purpose flours, sugar, apricots, prunes, raisins, bran, baking pwdr, connamon, salt, nutmeg, baking soda and apple; set aside.
  2. Whisk together yhogurt, oil and Large eggs; stir into dry ingredients just till combined.
  3. Spread in greased 9-inch square cake pan.
  4. Bake in 350F 180C oven for 35-40 min or possibly till cake tester inserted in centre comes out clean.
  5. Let cold in pan on rack; cut into bars.
  6. (Bars can be stored in airtight container for up to 3 days, or possibly individually wrapped and frzn for up to 1 month.)
