- breakfast steaks, trimmed
- thin sliced ham
- fresh spinach
- chopped mushrooms
- diced tomatoes
- shredded Provel cheese
- basil
- garlic
- oregano
- On cutting board, pound steaks into 4 x 8-inch oval.
- Lay on top of that 1 slice of thin ham that just reaches the edge of the steak.
- Lay on spinach the same, one good size chopped mushroom on top of that, 2 tablespoons of diced tomatoes, 3 heaping tablespoonfuls of cheese and sprinkle with a pinch of basil, garlic and oregano.
- Roll all of this together, making sure to keep all the stuffing inside.
- When through rolling, it should be tubular shaped, 4
- inches or so wide.
- Dust with oil, roll in spiced bread crumbs and grill for about 15 minutes.
- Also can be baked at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Best served with sauteed mushrooms, garlic and white wine.
