Homemade Macaroni And Cheese Recipe
- 2 c. macaroni noodles
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Table Blend seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- Dash white pepper
- 16 ounce. American cheese, cubed
- Cook macaroni in boiling, salted water for 5 min, drain and rinse.
- Dissolve cornstarch in approximately 2 Tbsp.
- water; add in to lowfat milk.
- In saucepan, heat butter; add in lowfat milk.
- Cook on low heat to thicken; stirring constantly.
- Turn off heat and add in cheese; stir till melted.
- Bake in greased casserole for 20 to 25 min till heated or possibly browned.
