Black Beans and Rice

  1. Prepare rice as directed.
  2. Rinse black beans thoroughly using a colander.
  3. When rice is done, mix in rinsed beans.
  4. Cover.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes.
  6. Serve as main dish or side dish.
  7. Add hummus and/or salsa if desired.
