Marinated French Dip
- 2 c. water
- 1/3 c. ReaLemon lemon juice from concentrate
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp. Wyler's or Steero beef flavor instant bouillon or 2 beef flavor bouillon cubes
- 1 tsp. thyme leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 (2 lb.) beef brisket, pierced
- 6 French bread rolls, cut in half
- In large shallow baking dish, combine all ingredients, except brisket and bread; add brisket.
- Cover; marinate in refrigerator 6 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
- Cover; roast at 325u0b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until tender, turning after 45 minutes. Remove meat from baking dish; reserve cooking juices.
- Cut brisket into thin slices; serve on rolls with juices for dipping. Refrigerate leftovers.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
