Crispy & Soft Banana Potato Starch Donuts

  1. Cut the banana into about 1.5 cm slices.
  2. Place the bowl on a scale and add the powder ingredients while measuring (gross weight + amount).
  3. Use a rubber spatula or large spoon to mix well.
  4. Add the water and mix in a cutting motion until no longer powdery.
  5. Add the banana.
  6. Heat the frying oil in a small frying pan or pot.
  7. Just enough for the banana pieces in step 2 to be submerged in and quickly float.
  8. Prepare a rubber spatula or large spoon.
  9. Use the spoon to scoop up the banana pieces, covered in batter, 1 at a time and place in the pan to fry (weak-medium to medium heat).
  10. Fry while using chopsticks to turn them over.
  11. They cook easily, so they fry pretty quickly.
  12. Once they've browned drain them of oil and they're complete.
