Pecan Berry Shortcake Recipe

  1. Sift flour, baking pwdr, sugar, and salt.
  2. Cut in butter.
  3. Combine beaten egg and cream.
  4. Add in to dry ingredients.
  5. Add in pecans.
  6. Mix.
  7. Pat dough on lightly floured board to 3/4 inch thick.
  8. Cut with 3 inch biscuit cutter.
  9. Bake on very lightly greased cookie sheet at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
  10. Split shortcakes when served.
  11. Spread with butter and berries.
  12. Top with cream.
