Apple-Plum Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Use a little of the butter to grease a five- to six-cup baking dish.
  3. Melt two tablespoons of the butter.
  4. Toss plums and apples together in a bowl with melted butter, a quarter cup oat bran, a half cup brown sugar and a half teaspoon cinnamon.
  5. Spread in baking dish.
  6. Use fork or pastry blender to combine remaining oat bran, sugar and cinnamon with remaining butter unti crumbly.
  7. Spread over fruit.
  8. Bake about 40 minutes, until bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool to just warm and serve with ice cream.
