Spring Fling Fruit Tart
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 pkg (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
- 3/4 cup whipping cream, whipped
- Garnish: kiwi slices, strawberry halves, grated orange and lemon rind (optional)
- COMBINE flour and brown sugar, stir well to blend; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; knead until well blended.
- Press onto the bottom and 1/2 in.
- (1.5 cm) up sides of a 10 in.
- (25 cm) flan pan with removable bottom.
- Bake at 350F (180C) for 10-12 min or until golden brown.
- Cool completely.
- BEAT cream cheese, sugar and rind in large mixing bowl on medium speed with electric mixer until well blended.
- Fold in whipped cream; pour into crust.
- Chill until firm.
- JUST before serving arrange fruit on top of tart.
- Carefully remove rim of pan.
