Sweet and Spicy Simmered Cabbage Rice Bowl
- 1 serving Hot cooked rice
- 3 leaves Cabbage
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Gochujang
- 1 Doubanjiang
- 1 Easy melting cheese
- 1 Egg yolk (or a soft poached egg)
- 1 Nori seaweed, sesame seeds, mayonnaise
- Slice the cabbage roughly.
- Combine the ingredients.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the cabbage.
- Add the ingredients.
- After cooking through, add the cheese and cover with a lid.
- Simmer over low heat.
- When the cheese melts, it is done.
- Transfer on hot cooked rice and place the egg yolk on top.
- Garnish with nori or mayonnaise if you like.
- Done.
