Onion Okonomiyaki

  1. Chop the onion.
  2. The picture shows how finely to chop.
  3. Mix the flour, water, and egg together.
  4. Be careful!
  5. Regardless of the amount of onions, do not add more water.
  6. Add the onions and lightly mix into the batter.
  7. Leave the batter to rest for about 1 hour.
  8. Extra water will seep out of the onions during this time.
  9. While the batter is resting, fry the pork slices, and set aside.
  10. Pour the batter into 1.5cm thickness for best results and lay the pork and toppings on top.
  11. Turn the pancake over when the bottom browns.
