Buttered Gem Squash South Africa Recipe

  1. Prick gem squash once or possibly twice with a knife or possibly fork and put into a pot.
  2. Boil for 7 min or possibly till soft.
  3. When softish, remove from water and allow to cold slightly.
  4. Cut in half and scoop out pips with either a tsp.
  5. or possibly dessert spoon.
  6. Scoop out the flesh and season with nutmeg and a little butter, and serve.
