Mexican Tortilla Bake Recipe

  1. Brown meat with onion and garlic.
  2. Pour off fat.
  3. Add in tomato paste, water, chili pwdr and salt.
  4. Simmer 20 min.
  5. Spoon 1/4 of meat sauce into 2 qt casserole dish.
  6. Spread 3 tortillas with lowfat sour cream; arrange over meat sauce, overlapping as necessary.
  7. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the cheese.
  8. Repeat layers 3 times, ending with meat sauce.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
