Steak Sandwiches With Caramelized Onions

  1. Heat the oil and butter in a frying pan over low heat.
  2. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until softened.
  3. Add the sugar and vinegar and cook for a further 1015 minutes, or until caramelized.
  4. Transfer to a small bowl and set aside.
