Apple Marinated Pork Roast Recipe

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except pork roast.
  2. Place pork roast in a plasticupbag; set in shallow baking pan.
  3. Pour marinade over pork and close bag.
  4. Marinate in refrigerator for 3 to 24 hrs, turning occasionally.
  5. Remove roast from marinade; reserve marinade.
  6. Place roast, rib-side down, in shallow roasting pan.
  7. Pour reserved marinade over roast.
  8. Insert meat thermometer so tip does not touch bone.
  9. Roast meat, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, or possibly till meat thermometer reaches 170 degrees.
  10. Baste roast with marinade once or possibly twice during cooking.
  11. To serve, transfer to a heated serving platter and slice.
