Easy Beef Stroganoff
- cooked egg noodles
- 1 lb hamburger
- 14 cup diced onion
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
- 12 cup water (I use the soup can)
- 12 cup sour cream
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- Brown the hamburger meat and chopped onions.
- Drain the cooked hamburger.
- Add both cans of soup and 1/2 cup of water.
- Add salt, pepper, and a shake of garlic powder to taste.
- Bring the sauce to a bubble, then simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
- Turn off the heat and stir in 1/2 cup of sour cream.
- We usually just put a big dollop into the sauce, adding more to our taste.
- Spoon the sauce over cooked egg noddles.
- Enjoy!
