Buffalo Chicken Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Prepare crust as directed on the package or your recipe.
  2. Brush crust with olive oil and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and set aside.
  4. Make the Buffalo sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  5. Whisk in the Franks sauce, brown sugar, and vinegar and allow the sauce to heat through.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the cooked, shredded chicken.
  7. Set aside.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the white sauce.
  9. (Its actually more like a paste than a sauce.)
  10. Spread the sauce in a thin layer over the pre-baked crust.
  11. Spread the chicken/Franks sauce mixture over the white sauce.
  12. Sprinkle the onion and garlic cloves over the sauce and top with bleu cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  13. Bake at 450 degrees F for 12-14 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  14. Remove from oven and let the pizza sit for a few minutes before slicing.
  15. Cassies Notes: I made a quick homemade pizza crust but feel free to use store-bought, or better yet, visit your favorite pizza restaurant and ask to buy some of their crust!
  16. If you prefer, feel free to use your favorite ranch dressing or bleu cheese dressing in place of the white sauce.
  17. I also think alfredo sauce would be delicious!
