Fried Beef Offal

  1. If possible, use raw offal.
  2. It's a little expensive but the taste is completely different from boiled!
  3. Wash the offal and strain in a colander.
  4. Cut the onion into 1 cm slices.
  5. Grate 1/2 a garlic clove.
  6. Heat a frying pan on medium heat.
  7. Once warmed, add the sesame oil and cook the offal.
  8. After 1 minute, add the gochujang and continue cooking until fragrant.
  9. Add the onion, sugar, oyster sauce, and garlic, and cook quickly.
  10. Add the water and stir well to blend everything together.
  11. Let the liquid thicken and then season lightly with salt and pepper.
  12. Arrange on a dish and sprinkle with pepper to finish.
  13. Since this is part of the "Hoppy Street" menu, I accompanied it with "Hoppy" (black) beer!
