Chicken Rice Tomato Soup Recipe
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 tbsp. fresh Italian parsley, minced
- 2 c. whole Italian canned tomatoes (with juice)
- 1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pkg. chicken flavored instant broth
- Saute/fry onion, garlic and parsley in 4 Tbsp.
- oil.
- Add in tomatoes and cook 15-20 min.
- Add in rice, broth and herbs.
- Bring to a boil and simmer till rice is tender, 25-30 min.
- Serve.
