Sour Cream Noodle Bake
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. narrow noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 can chopped green onions
- 1 can grated Cheddar cheese
- Cook noodles according to package; drain.
- Saute beef in butter.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce to meat; simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and noodles.
- Place a layer of noodle mixture in a shallow 2-quart casserole; top with meat mixture.
- Repeat procedure.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
