Augusta's Chicken And Dumplings Recipe
- 1 x chicken fryer, cut up
- 6 c. water, for boiling chicken
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 x egg
- Boil chicken till done, take chicken out and chicken broth add in dumplings and cook 10 to 15 min .take 1 c. of broth out to use for left over dumpling to hot up.
- Mix together dumpling ingredients androol out on floured board.
- roll thin, cut and drop into boiling broth.
- then cold slow for 10 to 15 min.
- Serve chicken on the side debone and add in back in with dumplings.
