Barb's Red Chili Recipe

  1. Cook the grnd beef, onion, bell pepper,garlic and pepper together in a heavy skillet till the meat is colored but not browned.
  2. Turn the heat to low and cover the meat with 1 1/2 c. of the beef broth and simmer for 25 min
  3. Add in the beans, V-8, remaining beef broth, Chile pwdr and cumin to the meat and simmer for a long time (maybe 2 hrs).
