Baby's First Applesauce

  1. Peel, core and cut into wedges all the apples.

  3. In a medium pot combine the apple slices, water and vanilla bean together, cover and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and continue to gently simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Once the apples are tender, remove from heat, mash with a masher or a fork.
  6. Applesauce should be a little watery.
  7. Add the coconut oil and Himalayan salt.
