Chocolate Chip Waffles
- cooking spray
- 12 cup all-purpose flour
- 14 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 tablespoon sugar substitute
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 34 cup nonfat milk
- 12 tablespoon applesauce
- 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 14 cup egg substitute
- 14 cup chocolate chips
- Coat a waffle iron with cooking spray, and preheat.
- Combine flours, baking powder, sugar substitute, and salt in a large bowl.
- Place milk, applesauce, vanilla, and egg substitute in a bowl; stir with a whisk.
- Add to flour mixture, stirring until blended.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron, spreading batter to the edges.
- Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until done; repeat procedure with remaining batter.
