Spiced Vanilla French Toast

  1. In a shallow pan (such as a pie plate) whisk together the eggs, vanilla, cream and spices.
  2. Spray skillet with non-stick spray and heat to medium heat.
  3. Dredge each piece of the bread in the egg mixture, one side at a time.
  4. DO NOT soak the bread or dip the entire piece in -- just each side.
  5. Cook each side until it no longer appears moist, and is lightly browned.
  6. Move to serving plate and sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar and serve.
