Eggless, Milkless, Butterless Cake Recipe

• 2 c. brown sugar
• 4 tbsp. shortening
• 1/2 teaspoon each cloves & ginger
• 1 teaspoon each cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice & salt
• 2 c. water
• 2 c. raisins

1. Boil the above 5 min in saucepan and cold to lukewarm.
2. Add in: 3 c. flour
3. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 min to 1 hour.
4. Serve frosted or possibly unfrosted.
