Chicken Philly Sandwich
- 4 -5 chicken breasts, cooked and sliced into 1-inch strips
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 14 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder (could use 2 cloves crushed) or 2 teaspoons minced garlic (could use 2 cloves crushed)
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 8 -10 slices provolone cheese
- salt and pepper
- In a large skillet with cover add oil, garlic and onion powder, begin to heat pan on Medium Heat.
- Once oil is hot add chicken and mix well to cover chicken with oil.
- Heat chicken through and stir until it starts to brown on all sides.
- Add sliced Green Pepper and Onion turn heat to Med Low and cover.
- Continue to stir every few minutes until veggies have heated through.
- Place slices of Provolone around the pan, remove from heat, cover and let the cheese melt.
- Serve on buns or hoagies and enjoy!
