Chic Roasted Chicken

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil your cooking vessel.
  2. Rinse and pat dry your chicken leg quarters.
  3. Sprinkle liberally with salt all over (1 teaspoon per leg quarter, or more or less to taste), and then sprinkle with pepper (utilizing more or less to taste).
  4. If you are so inclined, break apart your sprig of fresh rosemary and distribute over the surface of the chicken legs.
  5. Cook for 45 minutes, basting the leg quarters at least twice during that time with the pan juices.
