Chrysanthemum Leaf Shira-ae
- 1 bag Chrysanthemum leaves
- 1/2 block Tofu
- 1/3 of a carrot Carrot
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds, ground
- 1 tbsp Miso
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sake
- Julienne the carrot, then briefly parboil.
- Parboil the chrysanthemum leaves, then chill.
- Rinse the tofu in boiling water, then remove the excess water with a dry muslin or cloth.
- Grind the sesame seeds, add sugar, soy sauce, sake, and miso and mix well.
- Then, add the tofu.
- Once all the ingredients are well mixed, add the chrysanthemum leaves and carrots, then evenly toss everything together.
