Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  2. Add raisins and milk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Form dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly 10 times.
  3. Roll dough to 3/4-inch thickness.
  4. Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
  5. Place biscuits on greased baking sheets. Brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
  7. Combine powdered sugar and milk and mix until smooth. Drizzle over warm biscuits.
