Rice Pudding

  1. In a saucepan, heat milk, heavy cream, rice, sugar, raisins and vanilla.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Cover.
  4. Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
  5. Let simmer for 1 hour.
  6. Let cool many hours.
  7. Whisk 1/2 cup of heavy cream to do whipped cream.
  8. Fold it into the rice pudding.
  9. Divide into dessert dishes.
