Grilled Scallops Recipe irene wong
- 1 LB sea scallops
- 1 T fresh thyme
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 3 T olive oil
- cracked pepper to taste
- a pinch of salt
- Line the scallops on kitchen towel to dry.
- Mix and Marinate with all the ingredients and let scallops sit.
- Brush them with olive oil over a hot grill or on a hot pan.
- Slap the scallops on a hot sizzling pan for a minute or so on each side.
- *I like to served with orzo and some saute or grill seasonal vegetable...
- *Scallops should be fresh and not packed with water.
