East- North Carolina Vinegar Sauce

• 5 cup white vinegar
• 3 tbsp salt
• 1 tbsp granulated sugar
• 3 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
• 2 tbsp Red Pepper flakes
• 3 tbsp crystal hot sauce or your preference

1. Combine all ingredients along with 1 cup of water, whisk well.
2. Will keep for 6 weeks in refrigerator
