Mom's Cornbread Stuffing
- 16 ounces cornbread stuffing mix
- 3 cups water
- 12 cup butter, divided
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup Italian sausage
- 1 cup dried sweetened cranberries
- 12 cup pecans, chopped
- Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions (typically 3 cups water and 1/4 cup butter).
- Saute onion and celery in 1/4 cup butter until translucent.
- Brown Italian sauage.
- Combine all ingredients in lightly greased 13" x 9" pan.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
