Crispy Quinoa Burgers
- 1 cup Canned Or Cooked Cannellini Beans, Mashed
- 2 cups Cooked Red Quinoa
- 1/2 cups Bread Crumbs (more As Necessary)
- 1 whole Egg, Lightly Beaten
- 1 clove Garlic, Grated
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 5 slices Preferred Type Of Cheese, Optional
- 5 Sandwich Or Burger Buns Of Choice

- In a large bowl, mash the cannellini beans with a fork.
- Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Mix well to combine the ingredients.

- Wet your hands and form the mixture into 4 or 5 equal-sized burger patties.
- 3.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil.
- Place the quinoa burgers in the skillet and cook over medium-high heat until golden and crisp, about five minutes per side.
- In the last couple minutes of cooking add a slice of cheese if desired.
- Cover the pan and cook an extra 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted (any kind you prefer, optional).
- The burgers should hold up well and be easy to flip.

- Put the burger on your favorite bread, top with your favorite condiments and enjoy!
