My Mother-in-Laws Kebabs
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Lamb
- 1 whole Onion
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Red Pepper
- 1 whole Small English Cucumber, Peeled
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Dill
- 2 cartons Greek Style Yogurt (6 0z)
- 1.
- Dice the cucumber and mix with the yogurt, garlic, and dill.
- Set aside in the fridge until needed.
- 2.
- Grate onion into a large bowl.
- Add lamb and spices.
- Mix with hands until just blended.
- 3.
- Shape into 8 football shaped patties.
- 4.
- Place on broiler or hot grill for approximately 4 minutes each side or until medium rare inside.
- 5.
- Serve with rice, preferably basmati, and yogurt salad.
