Simple Beef Linguine Pasta with Parmesan and Basil
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1 whole Large Onion, Pureed
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 16 ounces, weight Dry Linguini Pasta
- 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste
- 1 head Garlic, Peeled And Chopped
- 1/2 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 cups Basil Leaves, Chopped
- Boil a large pot of salted water for the pasta.
- Combine beef, onion, salt, pepper, and turmeric in a large non-stick pan over high heat.
- Cook while mixing occasionally.
- At this point, go ahead and add the pasta into the pot of boiling water.
- After a few minutes, when all the liquid has evaporated from the beef mixture and it starts to saute, add the tomato paste.
- Stir to combine and heat the tomato paste.
- Add the chopped garlic and combine.
- Saute for a few minutes making sure not to burn the garlic.
- Once pasta has cooked to al dente (refer to your package instructions for al dente cook time), drain it then mix it into the beef mixture and add the Parmesan.
- Remove from heat and mix.
- Add basil, give a quick toss and serve.
- Enjoy!
