Simple Beef Linguine Pasta with Parmesan and Basil

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water for the pasta.
  2. Combine beef, onion, salt, pepper, and turmeric in a large non-stick pan over high heat.
  3. Cook while mixing occasionally.
  4. At this point, go ahead and add the pasta into the pot of boiling water.
  5. After a few minutes, when all the liquid has evaporated from the beef mixture and it starts to saute, add the tomato paste.
  6. Stir to combine and heat the tomato paste.
  7. Add the chopped garlic and combine.
  8. Saute for a few minutes making sure not to burn the garlic.
  9. Once pasta has cooked to al dente (refer to your package instructions for al dente cook time), drain it then mix it into the beef mixture and add the Parmesan.
  10. Remove from heat and mix.
  11. Add basil, give a quick toss and serve.
  12. Enjoy!
