Quintessential Panna Cotta
- 150 ml Heavy cream
- 150 ml Milk
- 30 grams Granulated sugar
- 1 Vanilla beans (vanilla essence)
- 5 grams Powdered gelatin
- 2 tbsp Hot water
- 1 as preferred Sauce of your choice (caramel, fruits, etc.)
- Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
- Make lengthwise cuts in the vanilla beans and scrape out the insides.
- Add heavy cream, milk, and granulated sugar in a pot.
- Heat until it's nearly boiling.
- Turn the heat off and add vanilla beans and the dissolved gelatin.
- Chill the pot in cold water, and cool down the mixture as you stir.
- Continue until it's slightly thick.
- Pour into desired cups.
- Chill 2-3 hours in the fridge to finish!
- Please serve with your favorite sauce or fruits It's even more simple if you use store bought yogurt sauce.
