Easy Cheddar and Bacon Pinwheels

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Unroll pastry on lightly floured surface.
  3. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese to within 1/4 inch of one short side; roll up, starting at opposite short side.
  4. Place, seam side down, on parchment-covered baking sheet.
  5. Freeze 15 min.
  6. or until firm.
  7. Transfer to cutting board; cut into 1-inch-thick slices.
  8. Place, cut sides up, on prepared baking sheet; brush with egg.
  9. Bake 17 to 20 min.
  10. or until golden brown.
  11. Cool 1 min.
  12. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
