Delicious! Sweet Potato French Toast
- 150 grams Sweet potato
- 200 ml Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 or 3 drops Vanilla essence/extract
- 1 Black sesame seeds
- 1 Butter
- 6 slice Sliced bread
- Yuo can use heavy cream instead of the milk if you like.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 1 cm cubes.
- Put in a dish with a little water, wrap with plastic wrap, and heat in the microwave until soft.
- Once the potatoes have become soft, add the sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla.
- Using a mixer, mix the ingredients together.
- Cut the bread slices in half and arrange in a shallow container.
- Pour the potato cream mixture over the bread.
- Let the bread soak up all the cream.
- Heat up a frying pan and put in some butter.
- Pan fry the bread over medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
- Add black sesame seeds and/or cinnamon powder to taste.
